There are 2 types of irradiators available: OFTN-03 “Axion” (cradle with hammock, lower irradiation) and OFTN-420/470-02 “Axion” (stand, upper irradiation).
1) OFTN-03 "Axion" is intended for a phototherapy session for a newborn through irradiation with blue light in the wavelength spectrum (465±15) nm in order to reduce the total content of bilirubin in the blood.
2) OFTN-420/470-02 "AXION" is intended for irradiation of a newborn with “blue” rays in the wavelength spectrum of 420...470 nm in order to reduce the percentage of bilirubin in the blood.
These irradiators are effectively used in maternity hospitals, in neonatal intensive care units, and in children's outpatient facilities for the treatment of neonatal jaundice.
Features and advantages of the phytotherapeutic irradiator for the treatment of jaundice in newborns OFTN-03-“Axion”:
1) Comfortable conditions for conducting a phototherapy session with great efficiency;
2) There is no need to close the child’s eyes during the procedure;
3) Indication of the current time of the irradiation session in increments of 1 minute, with an accuracy of no more than 1%;
4) Automatic shutdown and sound signaling of the end of the irradiation session.
Phototherapy is an opportunity to quickly and effectively treat jaundice even at home. This is a physiotherapeutic procedure aimed at reducing the level of indirect bilirubin, thereby protecting the newborn’s body from its toxic effects.
